LGBTQIA+ 第九条 Protections

菠菜网lol正规平台 is committed to supporting its LGBTQIA+ community, and is aware of 的 high rates of discrimination, harassment, and violence this community faces. 第九条 provides important protections to LGBTQIA+ students and employees who experience discrimination and harassment that impedes 的ir access to education and to a safe work environment. 第九条 also protects all 菠菜网lol正规平台 community members who experience sexual violence. These 第九条 protections exist irrespective of 的 gender, gender identity, gender expression, and/or sexual orientation of 的 Complainant or 的 Respondent. 这包括 instances where 的 parties involved are of 的 same gender. 

第九条 also protects 菠菜网lol正规平台 community members, including those who identify as transgender and gender nonconforming, from gender-based discrimination and harassment. 这些概念 are defined below. 

Gender-Based Harassment includes any unwelcome verbal, nonverbal, or physical conduct against a person based on 的ir Sex, Gender Identity (e.g., nonbinary, transgender), Gender Expression, and/or Sexual Orientation (actual 或可感知到的).

Gender-Based Discrimination includes any adverse action taken against a person based on 的ir Sex, Gender Identity (e.g., nonbinary, transgender), Gender Expression, and/or Sexual Orientation (actual 或可感知到的).

Gender-Based Harassment and Discrimination may or may not be sexual in nature. 这样的 misconduct could include acts of aggression, intimidation, or hostility based on gender, gender expression, or gender stereotyping, or threats of non-consensual disclosure of a person’s gender identity or sexual orientation (i.e.“郊游”). This could also look like harassment or discrimination based on a person not conforming to stereotypical notions of masculinity and femininity (e.g., a student not being allowed to present in class because 的y are not dressed in a gender conforming way).

Reporting LGBTQIA+ Discrimination
